Helpful Information for 2017 Varsity, JV & F Football Photos and Projects

AKA "SHS Sport Media Day Projects"

Please read through the entire page so you may see what traditions we are creating for our football teams to enjoy for years to come!

Here is some helpful Info for you to look at for the Varsity Football Picture Day aka "Sports Media Day":

1. Schedule for Picture Day:

SATURDAY AUG 12th

7:00 Coaches & Athletic Trainers - Green Screen Images for Brownwood Program Cover, Group Photos & Professional Head Shots

7:30 Varsity FB - Banner, Newspaper Head Shot, Recruitment Individual, Traditional individual, Traditional Group Photos

8:30 JV Blue FB - Individual, Traditional Group & Extreme Sports Group

9:30 JV White -  Individual, Traditional Group & Extreme Sports Group

10:00 Freshman -  Individual, Traditional Group & Extreme Sports Group

Meet The Players - Food will be served at this event. (Varsity moms, you still might want to bring your player a snack since it will be a long day of photos for our boys and we want them in a good mood for photos.)

1:00 Varsity ONLY - Green Screen Shots for 13 Program Covers, Social Media Promo Images No outside photography. We will posting behind the scene live streaming videos and photos on the Back Stage Pass Facebook (See #8 Below)

3. How to schedule my varsity player for the 13 Program Covers/Playoff Poster/Countdown Picture shot after the scrimmage. 

UPDATE: ALL VARSITY PLAYERS will report to the green room at 1 pm. Lisa Hughes, who we are convinced is our guardian angel on earth, made it possible that we can have the green room from 1-5 pm. No individual appointments are necessary.

4. Information about Varsity Mothers Group Photos shot at Soccer Field in bleachers & on field.  

These photos are scheduled for Aug. 12th 7 pm at the Soccer Field.  Boys are wearing white Jerseys and jeans. Moms are wearing dark blue shirts. See #2 above for example photos. It is the last photo on the page.

This is the ONLY place you can download exclusive photos from the projects we are doing.  Also, announcements about upcoming events and behind the scene videos will be posted here among other wonderful things.

9. Varsity Banners - We will be at the school Sunday locked away in an office creating your banner proofs. We will send out proofs Sunday to moms & players who request it on the order form (See #5 above). They must be reviewed for accuracy and approved that day.  Please make sure Pam Jones has your parent email/phone number and player phone number. Banners that are not proofed by the parent/player will be proofed by the coach and existing roster.  All banners are due to the printer Monday morning Aug 14th 7 am so they can be printed and up by Friday. No exceptions.

We are looking for hard working students who would like to help out with photo shoots and projects listed as #2 ABOVE for SHS Athletics. Participants will end up with a certificate with hours listed and a resume of projects worked on.
