Smithville Tiger/Lady Tiger Returning Varsity Poster Ad Fundraiser

Creates a New Money Stream for 2 Specific Needs: This is a fundraiser to pay for high school varsity player 2x3 ft individual player banners and team meals for the 2023-2024 Sports Season. It accomplishes this by selling ads on the poster via an online system with its own paper trail. Students will get to keep their banner and have team meals free of charge. Currently Smithville HS Sports has a company that does the poster fundraiser for Smithville HS and they give a small donation in relation to the total ads sold. Bringing this “inhouse” will open a new money stream with a larger share going to these 2 specified needs.
Improves Athlete/Team Pride: For Fall 2023, the poster will feature returning varsity athletes from XC, Cheer, Football, Volleyball, Tennis, and Football. Each group will have a special themed photoshoot in April 2023. Year after year, many families take pictures next to their athlete’s player banner and they will do the same thing with the poster. Team meals promote morale, creates memories, and ensures our athletes are not playing while hungry.
Creates New Traditions: Returning varsity athletes on cheer, volleyball, football, tennis and xc will be ONLY be featured on the Returning Varsity Poster each year. Each team will have a special shoot that will yield an eye catching image to attract attention on the poster. This event will be a source of pride for the player, their respective team, and the sponsor themselves.
Promotes Community Pride: During the” Meet the Tigers” event in Fall 2023, this poster will be given out FREE of CHARGE and fans have the opportunity to get their poster signed by the returning athletes on the team. These posters will stay up for an entire year.
Supports Local Businesses & Organizations: Over 1000 posters will be printed annd given out free of charge to each participating businesses/organizations to hang up. Smithville ISD teachers, coaches, admin, parents, extended family, & students will also be given this poster free of charge to hang up in their classroom, office or home out side of the Meet the Tigers event. This poster will be EVERYWHERE, providing added value to our sponsors for the price of an ad.
**Fundraiser will be Administered by Vasara Sports Media for the 2023-2024 Sports Season with the hope that the Boosters will be able to take it over at some future time. This system issues receipts and Vasara Sports Media will update a google doc that Coach Adkins and the Booster Treasurer will have access to with all the info for the fundraiser. We have over 15 years experience in fundraising on behalf of high school sports.
